The Cape Yorker pattern is a hand-illustrated collection highlighting some of the magical sights and experiences in the remote Cape York region of Queensland, Australia. This artwork holds special significance for me as it is inspired by cherished memories. As we grew up in Mossman (FNQ), many of my childhood family holidays were spent on camping and fishing trips to remote areas in Cape York during the dry season’s school holidays. Nowadays, my husband, kids, and I often visit friends in the beautiful town of Weipa, sharing the same experiences and magical feelings with our children.
